Ordering Requirements & Minimums
What is the minimum number of garments I can order?
The minimum quantity for all orders is 10 or more garments in the same style and fabric color, except for the following: those with an approved Studio Business Account, Reorders to match a past order, or Men & Boys Apparel when coordinating with a group order. What styles do you keep in stock?
All of our garments are made-to-order, so we don't carry any stock inventory. However, we do have one product line, Fast Track Jackets, which are stocked and ship in 2-4 weeks once customized with your lettering, accents, or custom logo.
Payment & Quotes
Can I pay with a purchase order? How do I request a quote?
Yes! High Schools, Colleges, and Non-Profit Organizations can request a quote and pay with a purchase order for group orders of 10 or more in the same color and fabric.

Where can I get a W-9 form needed for my purchase?
Please email orders@thelineup.com and we are happy to send you a W9 form.
Sizing & Fit
What size ranges do you offer?
We offer child, adult, extended, and custom sizing. Please see our Sizing Info page for more details.
How do I know what size to order?
Find information on how to measure your team on our Sizing Info page. Please note our garments are form-fitting and tend to run smaller than streetwear. Contact us with any sizing questions before ordering – we're always happy to help!
Do you offer size exchanges?
Yes, we offer size exchanges for online styles only. Please see our Return and Exchange Policy on the Lead Times, Shipping, & Return Policy page for more information.
Can I order child sizes for an online style that's only available in adult sizes?
Yes! However, please keep in mind that not every design can be adapted for children's sizing, so our experienced design team will need to review and approve each request. We offer child patterning services for group orders of 10 or more garments in the same style and fabric colors. Please note that orders requiring a child sizing patterning request will need additional production time. Contact us to get started!
Samples & Prototypes
Can I receive a sample garment of an online style?
Yes! For orders of 10 or more, we'll mail a sample garment for $20-$40 (includes shipping both ways). Keep the sample for up to one week to try on your team. Contact us to get started!
What is a prototype?
A prototype is a sample garment of your custom order, created to ensure you love your new look. A prototype is required for all custom group orders of 10 or more when:
- Modifying a current online style
- Creating your own design from scratch
A prototype is a great way to check fit, design, and overall performance before your entire order is created. Depending on complexity, your design may require additional prototypes. Please see our Prototypes page for more information.
Customization & Design
How do I order a custom design for a group?
Contact us to get started! We offer free design services for custom group orders of 10 or more. An account manager will walk you through the process.
Can I order a custom design for a solo or individual?
Custom costumes require a minimum of 10 garments. However, if you are approved for a Studio Business Account, you can purchase personalized online styles of less than 10 garments. Please keep in mind, there are no group discounts for orders of 1-9 garments.
How can I add my logo, lettering, or other embellishment?
Personalizing garments is perfect for distinguishing your team. Keep in mind:
- These sales are final and cannot be returned for size exchanges
- Licensed team logos require a letter of permission from the school/organization
- Any license fees will be added to the garment cost

Materials & Fabrics
What fabrics do you offer?
We offer a huge variety of colors and fabrics! Visit our Fabrics page for options. Note that fabric colors shown online are representational only and may vary between monitors.
Can I order fabric swatches prior to ordering?
Yes, we offer up to 6 free fabric swatch samples – only pay for shipping! This is the best way to see your colors in real life and is highly recommended. Visit our Fabrics page to learn more.
Do you offer nude skin tone fabric options?
Yes, we offer a variety of skin tone variations and are happy to extend our group pricing of 10 or more garments in the same style and fabric colors. Explore our Fabrics page to view available nude color options and contact us to get started!
Production & Shipping
What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround time varies by season and order size. Check individual product pages for current ship date ranges, visit our Lead Times, Shipping, & Return Policy page for general information, or contact us if you have additional questions.
Do you do rush orders?
Rush orders are available, but subject to approval, and additional fees may apply. Visit our Lead Times, Shipping, & Return Policy page for more details. Contact us by phone or live chat to request a rush order.
Will changing colors increase production time?
No, since all garments are made-to-order, selecting your own colors will not increase production time.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we offer international shipping! However, if you're outside the United States, please contact us to place your order through an Account Manager. International shipping includes surcharges for duties, taxes, and fees, with additional transit time and no guaranteed delivery timelines. Do you offer reorders?
Yes! We keep patterns on file for all orders, making reorders possible for years to come. Visit our Reorders page for more information.
Accounts & Discounts
What kinds of discounts do you offer?
Teams save, every day! Group orders of 10 or more garments in the same style and fabric colors qualify for our standard group discounts:
- Online orders: 20% off for 10+ garments in same style and fabric color (automatic discount will be applied)
- Custom orders: 10-20% off depending on quantity and design complexity
- For advance planning, we offer Preseason Sale discounts January through May and Early Bird Skate Sale discounts for skate teams April through June.
- Studio Business Accounts receive confidential pricing for qualified professionals.
How do I set up a Studio or wholesale account?
We offer confidential pricing and online accounts for studio business owners, teachers, and choreographers. Visit our Studio Business Account page for more details and application instructions.

How do I wash or care for my costume?
Care depends on fabrics used and embellishments applied. See our Garment Care & Services page for detailed information. If in doubt, contact us!
Can you wash my costume for me?

Do you accept returns?
All garments are made-to-order based on your selections. Once your order is placed, it cannot be changed or refunded. Please see our Lead Times, Shipping, & Return Policy page for more details. We're happy to assist you before you place your order!
